The backrest is one of the most important parts of a tilting platform. It must be comfortable, safe, and easy to use. The High Comfort TM backrest. is supplied on all of our platform range. The backrest can tilt forward or backwards to adjust to any angle of chair back, and the strap support can hold a backrest pad for soft back chairs or be left free for moulded or hardback chairs. The ample space behind the strap support can accommodate all the items that at are likely to be found on wheelchairs, such as oxygen bottles.

The headrest pad is profiled to give support to both head and neck and is adjustable to give the best position. The internal foam is an engineered composite that gives a soft centre section for maximum comfort with harder foam edges to give good head support. It is finished with an easy wipe-down vinyl cover
