The Pacific Dental Conference in Vancouver
The Mission Begins
The team at Design Specific is at it again with a new mission and a new itinerary. This time they have travelled to Vancouver to attend the Pacific Dental Conference. Both John and Simon arrived late in the evening on 4th March and, although weary from their flight, decided to take to the streets and introduce themselves to the city of Vancouver and some fresh Canadian air.
Dental equipment specialists
The next morning, well rested and re-energised, the guys’ busy week began with John Walters boarding a flight to San Francisco where he hired a car and drove through the scenic California countryside to on the first work-related stop of the trip. His mission was simple and straightforward: train Design Specifics’ newest client’s staff on how to setup, maintain and operate their all new Compact Wheelchair Recliner.
Training Day for the Staff
John was greeted by Dental Director Dr. Alicia Montell and her staff including their maintenance crew Randy and Rudy. He instructed the dental staff on the proper use and care of the equipment as well as correct maintenance procedures. With his mission complete, John returned to Vancouver later that day to set up the Design Specific Exhibition display at the Pacific Dental Conference.
“Design Specifics debut into Canada was successful with orders imminent. We ‘wowed’ the crowd!”
Many of the Professors, Doctors of Dentistry and Dental Directors who visited the Design Specific booth at the Pacific Dental Conference, were seeing our equipment for the first time and as we providing usage information and showed them how our patient solutions could help in the teaching of their students, we saw a lot of interest and are quite confident that we will be seeing many new orders from their universities and educational facilities. Albeit for educational purposes for the time being, many suggested its use in surgical centres for their wheelchair-bound and bariatric patients.
Design Specific assisting Dental Fix to build the booth. DentalFix allowed space on their Exhibition stand for the Compact Wheelchair Recliner to be demonstrated.
A panoramic view from one corner of the exhibition with everything ready before the opening. A prime position open to both sides and in full view from the rest area where people having coffee could be distracted by the Design Specific Wheelchair Recliner in operation.
The team at Design Specific is very pleased with the response we received about our products at the Pacific Dental Conference in Vancouver and are confident that we have secured future orders for our company.
